United Fairfield is an advocacy organization that aims to gather citizens, groups and leaders from across the county into the same room under one common goal – “to identify the needs, define key issues and delineate roles and responsibilities for each group.” The purpose of United Fairfield is to:
- Identify current strengths and resources across the county;
- Connect the many great things already going on throughout the county;
- Regularly monitor and influence local governing bodies;
- Provide regular information/updates to network of groups/citizens;
- Leverage power of our many organizations to push current elected leaders to meet needs;
- strategically transform county leadership by targeting positions, and identifying, recruiting, developing and supporting the election of future leaders.
