One of Fairfield Forward’s continuing initiatives is Walkabouts. These activities improve cognition, concentration, behavior and academic performance. Active students learn better! Walkabouts are short, online modules that incorporate movement-rich activities into lessons reinforcing language arts, math and reading concepts. Students and teachers may access Walkabouts at school or at home. Parents are encouraged to use Walkabouts as a resource to help with homework, studying, or for just plain fun! 5 Elementary Schools have participated, 49 teachers and 833 students so far and we look forward to the 20/21 school year this fall.
