Fairfield Forward remains committed to supporting residents as long-term recovery continues following Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Through the Fairfield County Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG), the coalition is working with local partners to address unmet needs, coordinate resources, and connect households to ongoing recovery assistance.
Community discussions and outreach efforts continue to focus on housing recovery, case coordination, and strengthening collaboration among agencies serving Fairfield County. Fairfield Forward encourages residents impacted by the storms to stay connected for updates on available support.
In addition to recovery work, Fairfield Forward’s FoodShare Program continues to provide access to fresh fruits and vegetables at a reduced cost, helping families facing food insecurity. The program relies on strong partnerships, volunteers, and community participation to keep healthy food accessible across the county.
Fairfield Forward will continue sharing updates on disaster relief efforts, upcoming meetings, and FoodShare distributions through its website and social media platforms.
